Websites for plumbers
I'm Grant, and I build websites for plumbers. Someone with a dripping tap and someone planning a new bathroom both land on your site from a phone, so it puts ringing you first, shows your own jobs and explains the work nobody sees. I start with a free mockup, so you see the site before you pay anything, and it costs you nothing either way.
£50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years. After that the site's yours, dropping to £20 a month if you'd like me to keep looking after it.
Or call 07459 934592 or message on WhatsApp. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri.
See your own website first.
Then decide if it earns your £50.
Tell me about your business and I’ll make a free mockup using your name, services and brand. You see the direction before you pay anything.
- Custom website, hosting, care and content updates included
- The website is yours once all 24 payments are made
- After that, £20/month care is optional
- Your first payment is fully refundable for 14 days from the day it is taken

I'll use the details you've sent to put together a first design within 2 working days. There's nothing else you need to email over to get started.
Quick answer. A plumber's website has two jobs: to get someone with a problem to ring you, and to show someone planning a bathroom that you know what you're doing. That takes a Call button that's always in reach on a phone, photos of your own work, and the unseen work, the strip-out and the pipework, explained in plain words. I build these, and I start with a free mockup. If you go ahead, it's £50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years.
What a plumber's website should do
This is the list I work from. Not every plumber needs all of it, and I'll say what fits your business when we talk.
One main action: ring you
On a phone, the call is what a plumber's customer wants. Put a Call button in the header, on the first screen and in the contact section, and keep one on screen as they scroll. Everything else on the page is there to lead to that button.
Two kinds of customer, two ways in
A leaking tap and a new bathroom aren't the same enquiry. Give each its own route: a quick call for the repair, and a short message with a few photos for the bathroom.
Photos of the room as it is now
Ask people to send photos of the existing bathroom or the problem when they get in touch. It helps you see what you are dealing with before you have left the house.
The work nobody sees
Good plumbing is mostly behind the walls. A short section on the strip-out, the first fix and the finish shows customers what they are paying for, with a photo from a real job at each stage.
Your own job photos
Finished bathrooms, tidy pipework, a boxed-in cistern: photos of your own work, even ones taken on your phone, say more than a stock picture of a tap.
A Recent work page
A page of recent jobs gives people something to look through before they ring, with each photo opening bigger on a tap. On suitable builds I can include a private password-protected panel for your business, or you can send the photos over by email or WhatsApp. Small changes are done within 48 hours, usually within a few hours.
Your Google reviews, linked
If customers have reviewed you on Google, show your rating where people can see it and link to the reviews, with a link for new customers to leave one. They can read the reviews on Google itself instead of taking your word for it.
Honest about who did what
If you do the plumbing on a bathroom someone else is fitting, say so in a plain line on the page. It keeps the page truthful and keeps you out of arguments about the tiling.
Set up properly for search
The page tells Google you are a plumber and where you work, which is the groundwork for being found when someone searches for a plumber in your area. Nobody can promise a place in the results, and I won't.
A plumber and bathroom fitter in Gartcosh: BS Plumbing and Bathrooms
BS Plumbing and Bathrooms is a real client, and his site began as a free mockup. It puts the call first, shows his own photos and a walkthrough video of a finished job, and explains the work behind the walls in three steps.
From a free mockup to live the next day
Here's how it went for BS Plumbing and Bathrooms. Yours would follow the same order: free mockup first, and nothing to pay until you have seen it.
-
It started with an email
My email offered him a free mockup of his site before he had committed to anything.
-
I built the free mockup
I built it that evening and sent it over. He wrote the words for the site himself, that night, and the next morning he sent photos of his own jobs and a walkthrough video of a finished one.
-
It went live the next day
It is at bsplumbingandbathrooms.co.uk, his own web address, and you can look it over yourself.
-
A Recent work page came later
A few weeks after it went live I added a Recent work page with photos of his own jobs, each one opening bigger on a tap.

Change it yourself in seconds — or just email us
Updates are included in your monthly plan. Email a change over and it's done within 48 hours — usually within a few hours. And when you'd rather not wait on anyone: on suitable builds GrantOps includes a simple admin panel built around the exact sections we agree — prices and services, menus, photos, special offers, opening hours, news.
You edit the approved content; the layout, branding and mobile design stay protected. Photo and project gallery editing is already delivered and in use for KAP Joinery.
Available on suitable builds. We agree exactly what you can edit before development, so the panel stays simple instead of becoming a cluttered page builder.

What happens after the £50 monthly payments?
A monthly website can spread the cost of owning a professional site, or keep you renting indefinitely. The important question is what you own when the initial term ends.
That £50 a month is the whole thing — designing and building your site, hosting it, and changes when you need them. There's no separate build bill. And it's 24 payments, not forever — the plan runs for a minimum of 24, and once they're made the £50 stops and you either keep us on at £20 a month or take your site wherever you like. It's yours. Seen another £50-a-month offer? Ask if it includes building the site — many at that price cover hosting and support only.
A website-rental model
- You may be paying for access to the website rather than buying it
- The monthly payment can continue for as long as the site is live
- Payments never end — stop paying and the site is gone
- Website files may not be available to move elsewhere
- Updates, email and support may be separate add-ons
GrantOps monthly plan
- No deposit and no setup fee — start with the first £50 payment
- A custom-coded website designed for your business
- Hosting, content updates and business email included
- Backups, security and direct developer support included
- Complete all 24 payments and the website is yours — take it anywhere
The plan runs for a minimum of 24 payments — that's what pays for the build instead of an upfront fee. End it early and hosting ends and the site comes down. Complete all 24 and the £50 payments stop for good: keep us on at £20/month or take the files and host the site anywhere. With a rental, the payments never stop — and neither does the risk.
AWS and Kubernetes certified
Translation: the bit that keeps your site online and fast is run by someone with the same qualifications enterprise teams hire for. Your site won't vanish because a cheap hosting company went bust.
Your booking system. Your customers. Your account.
Every build includes hooking your site up to the tools you already use — online booking, newsletter, reviews, WhatsApp. You keep the accounts, in your name. That's the whole difference.
Let people book you online
Already using Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy or Treatwell? I'll wire it straight into your site, so customers book a slot instead of ringing you while you're on a job.
The account stays yours
The booking system is in your name, on your card. Your calendar, your customer list, your data. None of it routes through me, and I don't sit in the middle of it.
Walk away, keep everything
Resellers hand you their booking platform as part of the monthly fee. Stop paying and your calendar goes with them. Here the tools were always yours — so there's nothing to lose.
Included in every website build, whichever way you pay — it's your account, I just wire it in. Bespoke work like member areas, custom calculators or a direct API integration is a separate quote.

Why this beats the cheaper Facebook ads
The £299 builders you'll see advertised on Facebook are usually one-person operations using the same off-the-shelf website kit on a shared computer (we've checked the top results in our area). Stop paying and the site usually disappears with the operator. Here, the terms are clear: £50 a month covers the build plus hosting and care, the website is yours once all 24 payments are made, and £20/month care after that is optional. Registered Glasgow Ltd (company number SC834128). No hidden lock-in. For the full numbers, see our breakdown of what a website really costs in Scotland.

Websites for plumbers: common questions
How much does a website for a plumber cost?
£50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years. After that the site's yours, dropping to £20 a month if you'd like me to keep looking after it. You see a free mockup first, so you know what you're getting before you pay anything. The plan covers up to 5 pages, which is enough for a home page, bathrooms, general plumbing and repairs, recent work and a contact page. Anything beyond the plan is quoted separately, before any work starts.
Should the site say I do emergency call-outs?
Only if you do, and only in your own words. I write what you tell me is true about your business, so if you take emergency call-outs it goes next to the phone number where people can see it. If you don't, the site doesn't say it. The same goes for your hours, the areas you cover and anything else a customer might hold you to.
I do heating as well as plumbing. Is there a page for that?
Yes. If gas work is part of what you do, see websites for gas and heating engineers, which covers what a site needs when there is a boiler involved. A site can do both jobs: the plumbing and the heating each get their own page.
Can I show jobs where I only did the plumbing?
Yes, as long as the page says so. The BS Plumbing and Bathrooms site has a plain paragraph saying that some projects were plumbing installations for other bathroom contractors, that the plumbing was his part, and that he doesn't claim anyone else's work. I'd word yours the same way, in your own words.
Do I need a lot of photos to get started?
No. Send a link to your Facebook or Instagram page and whatever photos you have of finished bathrooms or tidy pipework, even ones taken on your phone mid-job, and that's enough to start a mockup. More can follow later. If you have a before-and-after of the same bathroom, send both.
How long does it take?
Most sites are live in about a week once I have your content. BS Plumbing and Bathrooms went live the day after I sent the mockup, but that was down to him sending his words and photos so quickly. The free mockup comes first, so you can tell me what to change before anything goes live.
Plumber that needs a website?
Ask for the free mockup and see your site first, or ring or message me if you'd rather talk it through. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri, and you'll be talking to the person who builds the site.
