How a website build works — and what it actually costs

Pick your site type, tell us about the features you need, choose your hosting priority, and choose whether you'd like a simple admin panel to manage the sections we agree up front. Standard website packages can be paid with a 50% deposit and balance before launch, then hosting/care monthly, or through a 24-month all-in monthly plan that bundles the build plus hosting/care.

There are two types of monthly fee. Pay-monthly website builds start at £50/month all-in for 24 months with no build or reservation deposit; that includes the build plus hosting/care during the plan. After month 24, care becomes optional. If you use the 50% deposit route, hosting/care starts at £20/month (Starter) for brochure sites, £30/month (Professional) for business sites, and £45/month (Online Shop) for stores. Business Growth is £75/month if you want active monthly improvement.

Yes, on suitable builds. Before we start, we agree exactly which sections you can edit yourself — prices and services, menus, photo and project galleries, opening hours and holiday closures, special offers, news posts, service areas, contact details. Photo galleries are already live for a real client (KAP Joinery), and the same approach covers the rest. You edit the approved content; the layout, branding and mobile design can't be broken, and your changes publish straight to your live site without slowing it down. Prefer to just email your changes instead? Small changes stay included in your monthly care — the panel is simply there for owners who like to do it themselves.

Only if you want to update the agreed sections yourself. There's no separate charge and it won't slow your site down — but plenty of owners would rather just send changes over. If that's you, email them across and we'll make them as part of your monthly care; the panel is for owners who prefer self-service. Bigger jobs — building whole new pages yourself, several staff editing everything, running a full online shop, or managing orders, customer records or bookings — are a different kind of project and quoted separately.
