Websites for landscapers and tree surgeons
I'm Grant, and I build websites for landscapers and tree surgeons. People hire you standing in the garden looking at a tree or a patch of lawn, so the site starts from a photo, shows your own before-and-afters and explains the work in plain steps. I start with a free mockup, so you see the site before you pay anything, and it costs you nothing either way.
£50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years. After that the site's yours, dropping to £20 a month if you'd like me to keep looking after it.
Or call 07459 934592 or message on WhatsApp. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri.
See your own website first.
Then decide if it earns your £50.
Tell me about your business and I’ll make a free mockup using your name, services and brand. You see the direction before you pay anything.
- Custom website, hosting, care and content updates included
- The website is yours once all 24 payments are made
- After that, £20/month care is optional
- Your first payment is fully refundable for 14 days from the day it is taken

Quick answer. A good landscaping website, or a tree surgeon's, has to work for someone standing in a garden with a phone. That means a way to send you a photo of the job, a Call and WhatsApp bar that stays in reach, before-and-after pairs of the same spot, and your own photos instead of stock. I build these, and I start with a free mockup. If you go ahead, it's £50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years.
What a landscaper's or tree surgeon's website should do
This is the list I work from for a landscaper website or a tree surgeon's. Tree work and landscaping are different jobs, and I'll tell you what fits yours when we talk.
Start the quote from a photo
Someone looking at a tree will take a photo before they fill in a form. A "WhatsApp us a photo" button near the top lets them send it in one tap, so the conversation starts with the job in front of you.
A bar that stays in reach
A WhatsApp and Call bar fixed to the foot of the screen on a phone means the next step is always one tap away, however far down the page they have scrolled.
Before-and-after pairs of the same spot
The before is the reason people ring, and the after is what they hoped for. Show the same spot twice, side by side or one after the other, from your own job photos.
Your own photos, not stock
Tree surgery and landscaping are visual trades, and a stock oak does not look like your work. Photos from your phone or your Instagram show the real thing.
How the work is done, in plain steps
A tree comes down in sections over the shed and the fence. A lawn or a patio is built up in layers, from the bottom. A few plain lines like that tell a customer what the job involves, before you have even met.
A page for each kind of work
Tree surgery, landscaping and garden maintenance are different jobs, even if you do all three. Give each its own page and link them, because one often leads to the next: when a tree has gone, the ground around it usually needs work too.
Customer reviews in their own words
Quote reviews word for word, with the customer's name and the date, and link to the profile where they were written so visitors can read the rest, plus a link to leave a new one.
Where you work, as you would say it
List your areas exactly as you would give them to a customer on the phone. An area you do not cover should not be on the list.
A Recent jobs page you can add to
On suitable builds I can include a private password-protected panel for your business, so new jobs can go on the Recent jobs page. Or send the photos over by email or WhatsApp. Small changes are done within 48 hours, usually within a few hours.
From his Instagram to a finished site
Here's how it went for JJ Tree Surgeons. The finished site came first, and he signed up after he had seen it. You'd get the same order.
-
It started with an email
I sent him an email. He got back to me on WhatsApp, so I gave him a ring.
-
He told me what he wanted
He already had a website, built for him by a directory company on a template. He wanted to keep his web address, because it's printed on his vans, and his info@ email address too. His Instagram was a better record of his work than his Facebook, so that's where I started.
-
I sent him the finished site before he had paid
Two days later I sent him the whole site on WhatsApp, not just a home page. He hadn't paid me anything or signed anything.
-
His web address and email moved over
Once he'd added me to his account, I did the chasing with the directory company. His web address and his info@ email came across before the old ones were switched off, and the address on his vans didn't have to change.
-
It went live at his own web address
It is at jjtreesurgeonsltd.co.uk, and the case study puts the old site next to the new one.

Change it yourself in seconds — or just email us
Updates are included in your monthly plan. Email a change over and it's done within 48 hours — usually within a few hours. And when you'd rather not wait on anyone: on suitable builds GrantOps includes a simple admin panel built around the exact sections we agree — prices and services, menus, photos, special offers, opening hours, news.
You edit the approved content; the layout, branding and mobile design stay protected. Photo and project gallery editing is already delivered and in use for KAP Joinery.
Available on suitable builds. We agree exactly what you can edit before development, so the panel stays simple instead of becoming a cluttered page builder.

What happens after the £50 monthly payments?
A monthly website can spread the cost of owning a professional site, or keep you renting indefinitely. The important question is what you own when the initial term ends.
That £50 a month is the whole thing — designing and building your site, hosting it, and changes when you need them. There's no separate build bill. And it's 24 payments, not forever — the plan runs for a minimum of 24, and once they're made the £50 stops and you either keep us on at £20 a month or take your site wherever you like. It's yours. Seen another £50-a-month offer? Ask if it includes building the site — many at that price cover hosting and support only.
A website-rental model
- You may be paying for access to the website rather than buying it
- The monthly payment can continue for as long as the site is live
- Payments never end — stop paying and the site is gone
- Website files may not be available to move elsewhere
- Updates, email and support may be separate add-ons
GrantOps monthly plan
- No deposit and no setup fee — start with the first £50 payment
- A custom-coded website designed for your business
- Hosting, content updates and business email included
- Backups, security and direct developer support included
- Complete all 24 payments and the website is yours — take it anywhere
The plan runs for a minimum of 24 payments — that's what pays for the build instead of an upfront fee. End it early and hosting ends and the site comes down. Complete all 24 and the £50 payments stop for good: keep us on at £20/month or take the files and host the site anywhere. With a rental, the payments never stop — and neither does the risk.
AWS and Kubernetes certified
Translation: the bit that keeps your site online and fast is run by someone with the same qualifications enterprise teams hire for. Your site won't vanish because a cheap hosting company went bust.
Your booking system. Your customers. Your account.
Every build includes hooking your site up to the tools you already use — online booking, newsletter, reviews, WhatsApp. You keep the accounts, in your name. That's the whole difference.
Let people book you online
Already using Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy or Treatwell? I'll wire it straight into your site, so customers book a slot instead of ringing you while you're on a job.
The account stays yours
The booking system is in your name, on your card. Your calendar, your customer list, your data. None of it routes through me, and I don't sit in the middle of it.
Walk away, keep everything
Resellers hand you their booking platform as part of the monthly fee. Stop paying and your calendar goes with them. Here the tools were always yours — so there's nothing to lose.
Included in every website build, whichever way you pay — it's your account, I just wire it in. Bespoke work like member areas, custom calculators or a direct API integration is a separate quote.

Why this beats the cheaper Facebook ads
The £299 builders you'll see advertised on Facebook are usually one-person operations using the same off-the-shelf website kit on a shared computer (we've checked the top results in our area). Stop paying and the site usually disappears with the operator. Here, the terms are clear: £50 a month covers the build plus hosting and care, the website is yours once all 24 payments are made, and £20/month care after that is optional. Registered Glasgow Ltd (company number SC834128). No hidden lock-in. For the full numbers, see our breakdown of what a website really costs in Scotland.

Websites for landscapers and tree surgeons: common questions
How much does a website for a landscaper or tree surgeon cost?
£50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years. After that the site's yours, dropping to £20 a month if you'd like me to keep looking after it. You see a free mockup first, so you know what you're getting before you pay anything. The plan covers up to 5 pages, so a tree surgeon who also does landscaping can give each its own page. Anything beyond the plan is quoted separately, before any work starts.
I do tree work and landscaping. Should that be one site or two?
One. The two jobs often lead into each other, because taking a tree down tends to leave the garden around it needing attention. One site with a page for each kind of work, linked together, lets a customer find what they are after without you running two web addresses.
Can customers send me a photo of the job?
Yes. A "WhatsApp us a photo" button near the top sends it to your own number, so you start with the tree or the garden in front of you. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, a short form and a Call button do the same job.
I have hundreds of photos on Instagram. Is that a good start?
Yes, that's a strong start. JJ Tree Surgeons' Instagram held 378 photos, and his site is built from his own job photos there. I pick the ones that show the work clearly, caption each with what the job was, and you tell me which to drop.
I've already got a website. Can I keep my web address?
Yes. It stays in your name, and you don't have to change what's printed on your vans. I build the new site first, for free, and your current one carries on as it is. When you're happy, you add me to the account where the address is held, or send me the login, and I do the chasing to move it over.
Landscaper or tree surgeon that needs a website?
Ask for the free mockup and see your site first, or ring or message me if you'd rather talk it through. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri, and you'll be talking to the person who builds the site.
Other trades I build for
