What clients say

A few words from clients I've worked with on website builds, cloud infrastructure and ongoing support.

"Grant had done a spectacular job building a website for me that far exceeds my expectations...he took my thoughts and ideas and transformed them into a platform that reflects my personality. He was on hand throughout the journey to advise the best way to showcase my work and this has allowed me to take my hobby into a small business. I'm one delighted customer."

Jacqueline Kennedy Clydeside Captures · Google review

"Absolutely delighted with the web page Grant has set up for my joinery business — very professional and was super quick in responding to my questions and queries. 10/10 Excellent experience."

Paul Cameron KAP Joinery, Glasgow · Website build

"Amazing, Grant really understood the assignment. He has made my daughters hobbie of making bracelets for her friends into a wider opportunity for her to show her talent off. Thanks again Grant, highly recommend 10/10 👍 x"

"GrantOps Consulting delivered Cyberlandia an exceptional experience from start to finish. They transformed our AWS public cloud environment into a highly redundant, resilient solution that gives us real confidence in our infrastructure. What really set them apart was their willingness to go above and beyond—diving deep into troubleshooting our custom applications and developing sophisticated, high-end workarounds tailored to our unique deployment. Their technical expertise, creativity, and commitment to getting things right were evident at every step. If you're looking for someone that not only understands cloud architecture but truly partners with you to solve complex challenges, I highly recommend GrantOps Consulting. We continue to use them."

KAP Joinery — Glasgow

Paul runs a joinery business on Glasgow's southside. Since the site went live, quote requests come in through a proper form instead of Messenger, he's collecting reviews automatically, and he ranks for "joiner Glasgow" searches.

  • Quote form on every page — Messenger is optional now, not the only way to book
  • Review system built in — customers leave a review on the site, it auto-publishes, feeds Google too
  • Ranks for "joiner Glasgow" — people who've never heard of Paul now find him on page one
  • Hosted properly — runs on AWS, not a £3 shared host, so it loads fast and doesn't fall over (more on that below)

What a website does that Facebook doesn't

Facebook gets you seen by people who already follow you. A website gets you found by everyone else.

Found on Google

Show up when locals search joiner near me. Facebook pages rarely do.

Permanent home

Yours forever. No algorithm change can hide your business overnight.

One place for everything

Pricing, reviews, gallery, online booking — customers don't scroll through years of posts.

Reach younger customers

Younger customers don't scroll Facebook for local services — they google them. A site is how they find you at all.

AWS and Kubernetes certified

Translation: the bit that keeps your site online and fast is run by someone with the same qualifications enterprise teams hire for. Your site won't vanish because a cheap hosting company went bust.

Your booking system. Your customers. Your account.

Every build includes hooking your site up to the tools you already use — online booking, newsletter, reviews, WhatsApp. You keep the accounts, in your name. That's the whole difference.

Let people book you online

Already using Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy or Treatwell? I'll wire it straight into your site, so customers book a slot instead of ringing you while you're on a job.

The account stays yours

The booking system is in your name, on your card. Your calendar, your customer list, your data. None of it routes through me, and I don't sit in the middle of it.

Walk away, keep everything

Resellers hand you their booking platform as part of the monthly fee. Stop paying and your calendar goes with them. Here the tools were always yours — so there's nothing to lose.

Included in every website build, whichever way you pay — it's your account, I just wire it in. Bespoke work like member areas, custom calculators or a direct API integration is a separate quote.

Client admin panel available

Change it yourself in seconds — or just email us

Updates are included in your monthly plan — email a change over and it's done, usually the same week. And when you'd rather not wait on anyone: on suitable builds GrantOps includes a simple admin panel built around the exact sections we agree — prices and services, menus, photos, special offers, opening hours, news.

You edit the approved content; the layout, branding and mobile design stay protected. Photo and project gallery editing is already delivered and in use for KAP Joinery.

Available on suitable builds. We agree exactly what you can edit before development, so the panel stays simple instead of becoming a cluttered page builder.

£50 a month, all in. Make all 24 payments and the website is yours.

That £50 a month is the whole thing — designing and building your site, hosting it, and changes when you need them. There's no separate build bill, no deposit and no setup fee. And it's 24 payments, not forever — once they're made the £50 stops and you either keep me on at £20 a month or take your site wherever you like. It's yours.

No deposit, no setup fee
£50/mo
24 × £50 = £1,200 in total · build, hosting, updates, security and support included from your first payment
  • Custom-coded website, up to 5 pages, built for your business
  • Light brand polish — logo cleanup, palette and typography aligned across the site
  • Hosting on AWS, updates, business email, daily backups and security included
  • Quote form, local search basics and tracking from day one
  • Visitor recordings included — watch how people actually use your site
  • Simple admin panel on suitable builds, so you can change the agreed sections yourself
  • Direct line to me when you need something changed
  • Minimum term 24 payments — make all 24 and the website is yours outright
Minimum term: 24 payments. That is what pays for the build instead of an upfront fee. Your monthly payment covers the build plus hosting, updates and support, so if the plan ends early, hosting ends, the site comes down and the remaining payments stay due. Make all 24 and the website is yours outright — after that £20/month care is optional, or take the files elsewhere. Your first payment is fully refundable for 14 days from the day it is taken.

Why this beats the cheaper Facebook ads

The £299 builders you'll see advertised on Facebook are usually one-person operations using the same off-the-shelf website kit on a shared computer (we've checked the top results in our area). Stop paying and the site usually disappears with the operator. Here, the terms are clear: £50 a month is all-in for the build plus hosting and care, the website is yours once all 24 payments are made, and £20/month care after that is optional. Registered Glasgow Ltd (company number SC834128). No hidden lock-in. For the full numbers, see our breakdown of what a website really costs in Scotland.

Based in Glasgow — but most builds are remote

I'm based in Glasgow's southside (KAP Joinery is here), with most builds done remotely for clients across the UK. The three areas below are where the local-search work has the most punch — but the build experience is the same wherever you're based.

Elsewhere in Glasgow? See the city-wide Glasgow page. Outside Glasgow? Most builds are remote regardless. More on the service-area page.

Outside Glasgow, or starting something brand new?

That's most of who I hear from. Most builds are remote, so it doesn't matter where you're based in the UK. And if you don't have branding, colours or example sites in mind — that's normal too. We'll talk it through on a free call and shape the site around what your business or charity actually does. No prep needed before you call.

Need an app, not just a site?

We built and launched ChangeCheck — our own cross-platform mobile app, now live on the Apple App Store and Google Play, running on AWS. Same person, same standard. If you've an app idea, that's something I can build too.

Small business websites — common questions

Still stuck? Call 07459 934592 — I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri.

How much does a website cost?

£50 a month, all in. The build, hosting and care are bundled into the one payment — no deposit and no setup fee. Once all 24 payments are made the website is yours; after that £20/month care is optional. You can see a free mockup of your site before you pay a penny. If you need something bigger — an online shop, bookings, a members area — tell me and I'll quote it.

What's included in the build?

A custom-coded website (up to 5 pages), light brand polish, managed AWS hosting, SSL and daily backups, business email setup, a quote form, local search basics, and tracking from day one so you can see every call, email and form lead. Content updates are included, on suitable builds you get a simple admin panel to change the agreed sections yourself, and you get a direct line to me.

How long does it take to build?

It depends on how quickly you can get me your content — photos, services and any copy you already have. The build itself is not the bottleneck; waiting on content usually is. Start with the free mockup: you'll see a real design of your site before you commit to anything, and that's normally the fastest way to get moving. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri.

Do I actually own the website?

Yes. The website is yours once all 24 payments are made — the £20/month care plan after that is optional, not a condition of keeping your site. That is not true of a lot of the £299 builds advertised on Facebook, which are built so the site disappears the day you stop paying, permanently.

What if I want to leave?

The £50/month plan runs for a minimum of 24 payments, because that is what pays for the build instead of an upfront fee; end it early and hosting stops, the site comes down and the remaining payments stay due. Your first payment is fully refundable for 14 days from the day it is taken, so there's a real window to change your mind. Once all 24 are made the site is yours and the £20/month care plan that follows has no contract — leave anytime and the site stays yours. If a two-year commitment isn't for you, I'd rather tell you that up front than have you find it in the terms.

Can the site take bookings?

Yes — wiring up the booking, newsletter and review tools you already own is included in every build: Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy, Treatwell. The account stays in your name. That matters, because resellers hand you their booking platform — so the day you stop paying, your calendar leaves with them. Here the tools were always yours. Bespoke work like member areas, calculators or a direct API integration is quoted separately.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. Small changes are always included in your monthly care — email them across and I'll make them, usually the same week. On suitable builds I can also include a simple admin panel for the sections we agree up front — prices and services, menus, photo and project galleries, opening hours and closures, special offers, news posts, service areas — so you can update those yourself whenever you like. Photo galleries are already live for KAP Joinery. It isn't a drag-and-drop page builder, so you edit the approved content while the layout, branding and mobile design stay protected and your site stays fast.
