Websites for joiners
I'm Grant, and I build websites for joiners. Kitchens, doors, stairs, extensions: a joiner is hired for what the finished work looks like, so the site shows your own jobs and makes it easy to ask for a price. I start with a free mockup, so you see the site before you pay anything, and it costs you nothing either way.
£50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years. After that the site's yours, dropping to £20 a month if you'd like me to keep looking after it.
Or call 07459 934592 or message on WhatsApp. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri.
See your own website first.
Then decide if it earns your £50.
Tell me about your business and I’ll make a free mockup using your name, services and brand. You see the direction before you pay anything.
- Custom website, hosting, care and content updates included
- The website is yours once all 24 payments are made
- After that, £20/month care is optional
- Your first payment is fully refundable for 14 days from the day it is taken

A few quick details. No card, no obligation.
Your mockup request is in.
I'll use the details you've sent to put together a first design within 2 working days. There's nothing else you need to email over to get started.
Quick answer. A joiner's website has to show that you can do the job and make it easy to ask for a price. That takes photos of your own work, a simple way to send a brief or a photo, and pages that keep the big jobs apart from the everyday ones. I build these, and I start with a free mockup. If you go ahead, it's £50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years.
What a joiner's website should do
This is what I'd put in front of your customers. Whether you fit kitchens, build extensions or hang doors, I'll say what suits your work when we talk.
Your own finished jobs, on every page
Kitchens, stairs, doors, wardrobes: a joiner is hired for what the finished work looks like. Open each page on one of your own jobs rather than a stock picture.
The big jobs and the small ones, apart
An extension or a loft conversion is a different conversation from hanging a door. A separate page for general carpentry and joinery gives the smaller jobs somewhere to live, so they don't get lost under the headline work.
One job, told in the order it happened
A build shown in sequence, from the frame to the roof to the finished room, is more convincing than one finished photo. If you took photos along the way, I will lay them out in order.
A before-and-after you can reveal
Where you have a real before, show it: the old kitchen, then the new one. A reveal the visitor controls with a tap lets them see the change for themselves.
An easy way to ask for a price
Either a short form for name, number and what needs doing, or a brief with a drop-down of what you do, such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors and doors, so you get the details in one go.
WhatsApp, if that is how you work
Many joiners get jobs because someone sends a photo. A "get a price on WhatsApp" button next to a Call button makes that one tap, and leaves the form for people who would rather type.
Fit-outs get their own page
If you fit out bars, pubs and shops as well as kitchens at home, give the fit-outs a page of their own. Someone looking for a joiner to fit out a venue wants to see finished venues, not kitchens.
A look that is yours
The colours and type can come from your van, your logo or a printed flyer, so the site feels like your business and not a theme dropped in. The logo gets tidied up so it sits properly on any colour.
New jobs, added by you
On suitable builds I can include a private password-protected panel for your business, so you can add jobs and photos to your Our work page yourself. Or send them over by email or WhatsApp. Small changes are done within 48 hours, usually within a few hours.
Two joiners: GJH Joinery Services and KAP Joinery
GJH Joinery Services is a joiner and builder in Stepps, and KAP Joinery is a joiner on Glasgow's southside. The two sites look nothing alike, because each was built round that business. GJH's began as a free mockup, and KAP has a full case study.
From a free mockup to a page for the smaller jobs
Here's how it went for GJH Joinery Services. The free mockup came first and the decision after, and that is the order you would get.
-
It started with an email
I got in touch by email, and he asked for a free mockup.
-
He told me what to show
On the phone he said what he wanted on the site: the bigger jobs, such as extensions, loft and garage conversions, refurbishments and timber kit builds, and that he works across the Central Belt.
-
I built the free mockup
I sent it to him on WhatsApp. Then he sent about a hundred photos of his own jobs, which let me show real before-and-after jobs and a full extension told in order.
-
He asked for a page for the smaller jobs
Once he had seen the site he asked for a page just for the smaller jobs, such as doors, stairs and stud walls, and sent the photos for it the same day. That is the general carpentry and joinery page.
-
It went live at his own web address
It is at gjhjoineryservices.co.uk, a web address he already owned, and you can look it over yourself.

Change it yourself in seconds — or just email us
Updates are included in your monthly plan. Email a change over and it's done within 48 hours — usually within a few hours. And when you'd rather not wait on anyone: on suitable builds GrantOps includes a simple admin panel built around the exact sections we agree — prices and services, menus, photos, special offers, opening hours, news.
You edit the approved content; the layout, branding and mobile design stay protected. Photo and project gallery editing is already delivered and in use for KAP Joinery.
Available on suitable builds. We agree exactly what you can edit before development, so the panel stays simple instead of becoming a cluttered page builder.

What happens after the £50 monthly payments?
A monthly website can spread the cost of owning a professional site, or keep you renting indefinitely. The important question is what you own when the initial term ends.
That £50 a month is the whole thing — designing and building your site, hosting it, and changes when you need them. There's no separate build bill. And it's 24 payments, not forever — the plan runs for a minimum of 24, and once they're made the £50 stops and you either keep us on at £20 a month or take your site wherever you like. It's yours. Seen another £50-a-month offer? Ask if it includes building the site — many at that price cover hosting and support only.
A website-rental model
- You may be paying for access to the website rather than buying it
- The monthly payment can continue for as long as the site is live
- Payments never end — stop paying and the site is gone
- Website files may not be available to move elsewhere
- Updates, email and support may be separate add-ons
GrantOps monthly plan
- No deposit and no setup fee — start with the first £50 payment
- A custom-coded website designed for your business
- Hosting, content updates and business email included
- Backups, security and direct developer support included
- Complete all 24 payments and the website is yours — take it anywhere
The plan runs for a minimum of 24 payments — that's what pays for the build instead of an upfront fee. End it early and hosting ends and the site comes down. Complete all 24 and the £50 payments stop for good: keep us on at £20/month or take the files and host the site anywhere. With a rental, the payments never stop — and neither does the risk.
AWS and Kubernetes certified
Translation: the bit that keeps your site online and fast is run by someone with the same qualifications enterprise teams hire for. Your site won't vanish because a cheap hosting company went bust.
Your booking system. Your customers. Your account.
Every build includes hooking your site up to the tools you already use — online booking, newsletter, reviews, WhatsApp. You keep the accounts, in your name. That's the whole difference.
Let people book you online
Already using Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy or Treatwell? I'll wire it straight into your site, so customers book a slot instead of ringing you while you're on a job.
The account stays yours
The booking system is in your name, on your card. Your calendar, your customer list, your data. None of it routes through me, and I don't sit in the middle of it.
Walk away, keep everything
Resellers hand you their booking platform as part of the monthly fee. Stop paying and your calendar goes with them. Here the tools were always yours — so there's nothing to lose.
Included in every website build, whichever way you pay — it's your account, I just wire it in. Bespoke work like member areas, custom calculators or a direct API integration is a separate quote.

Why this beats the cheaper Facebook ads
The £299 builders you'll see advertised on Facebook are usually one-person operations using the same off-the-shelf website kit on a shared computer (we've checked the top results in our area). Stop paying and the site usually disappears with the operator. Here, the terms are clear: £50 a month covers the build plus hosting and care, the website is yours once all 24 payments are made, and £20/month care after that is optional. Registered Glasgow Ltd (company number SC834128). No hidden lock-in. For the full numbers, see our breakdown of what a website really costs in Scotland.

Websites for joiners: common questions
How much does a website for a joiner cost?
£50 a month for the build and the hosting, and it runs for two years. After that the site's yours, dropping to £20 a month if you'd like me to keep looking after it. You see a free mockup first, so you know what you're getting before you pay anything. The plan covers up to 5 pages, and a joiner who does big and small jobs can give each kind its own page. Anything beyond the plan is quoted separately, before any work starts.
I do bigger jobs and smaller ones. How do I show both?
Keep them on separate pages. GJH Joinery Services has pages for extensions, refurbishments and timber kit builds, and a plainer page for general carpentry and joinery covering doors, stairs and stud walls. A customer wanting a loft conversion and one wanting a fire door each find their own page.
Should the site show where each job was?
I'd leave it off. A job's location isn't needed to show the work, and a customer's home is theirs. Photos can say what the job was without saying where.
Can customers get a price from the site?
They can ask for one, and you decide how. Many joiners like a WhatsApp button, so a customer can send a photo of the job. Others prefer a short form for name, number and what needs doing. KAP Joinery has a quote form on every page, and Messenger is now optional rather than the only way to ask.
Can customers leave reviews on my site?
They can, if you want that. KAP Joinery's site has a review page where customers leave feedback, and each review is checked before it appears on the site. If you want that check, I'd use it to catch spam and abuse, not to keep the awkward reviews off.
Can I add photos of new jobs myself?
On suitable builds, yes. I can include a private password-protected panel for your business, and we agree what you can edit before the build starts, so the layout and the mobile design stay protected. Photo galleries are already live for KAP Joinery. If you'd rather not, send the photos over by email or WhatsApp. Small changes are done within 48 hours, usually within a few hours.
Joiner that needs a website?
Ask for the free mockup and see your site first, or ring or message me if you'd rather talk it through. I'll reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri, and you'll be talking to the person who builds the site.
Other trades I build for
