Starter (£20/mo) is for brochure sites where we handle everything — you email us changes and we update the site for you. Professional (£30/mo) is for content sites with an admin panel where you update your own text, photos, and blog posts (small updates from us are also included). Online Shop (£45/mo) is for online shops — you can manage products yourself via the admin panel, or email us for the small stuff (photo swaps, prices, the odd new product). Business Growth (£75/mo) is for shops or busy sites where you want active improvement — managed firewall protection, a higher update allowance, monthly performance reporting, monthly feature tweaks, and a faster response SLA. Enterprise (custom pricing) is for mission-critical sites needing 8-hour priority response, custom WAF rules, disaster recovery, and bespoke architecture. Every tier includes daily backups, SSL, and security monitoring.

Both tiers include checkout traffic handling, secure payments, and small content updates from us (photo swaps, prices, occasional new product). The difference is what happens around the shop. Online Shop (£45/mo) keeps everything running well. Business Growth (£75/mo) actively improves it: a higher update allowance for bulk product changes and seasonal refreshes, a managed firewall (WAF) tuned to your shop, a monthly one-pager covering what's selling and where customers are dropping off at checkout, monthly feature tweaks, and a faster response SLA. Most new shops start on Online Shop and move up to Business Growth once they want active monthly improvement or are taking enough revenue that downtime hurts.

£5/month gets you a server and that's it — no backups, no security, no one updating your site, no email, no support. If your site uses WordPress, you're also responsible for keeping the software updated and fixing anything that breaks. Our Starter plan includes all of that plus your site hosted on Amazon's cloud. Most small business owners tell us the content updates alone are worth the difference.

Every plan starts with tracking set up properly — you'll see phone clicks, email clicks, and contact form submissions. Visitor recordings are also installed as standard — you can log in and watch real, anonymous recordings of how people use your site, see where they click, and find where they get stuck. Most builders don't include this. Your site is also registered with Google from the start so they find every page. On Starter, Professional, and Online Shop plans, you can ask me any time for an update — I'll send you the numbers within a day. On Business Growth, you get a one-page summary at the start of every month covering your traffic, what people searched to find you, the findings from the visitor recordings, and whether anything needs a closer look. For online stores, the monthly snapshot also covers what's selling, traffic patterns by product, and any checkout drop-off worth a closer look.

On Online Shop (£45/mo), small monthly updates included from us cover: product photo swaps (replacing existing imagery), product description tweaks, price and stock changes, adding the occasional new product, homepage banner and copy updates, and sitewide edits (about, contact, opening hours, policies). What's not included at this tier: bulk catalogue uploads (50+ products in one go), new product collections from scratch, seasonal site refreshes (homepage redesign for Christmas), custom product page templates, or campaign landing pages — those are quoted separately or covered by Business Growth's higher allowance. You can still do anything yourself via the admin panel at any time; the included updates are for when you'd rather just email it across.

It covers the cloud server, daily automated backups, security monitoring, SSL certificate, tracking set up properly (so you can see what the site is actually doing), and content updates (Starter £20/mo) or technical maintenance including database and software updates (Professional £30/mo and above). Everything your site needs to stay fast, secure, and online.

Those platforms are excellent for developers who want to manage their own deployments. But they don't include backups, security monitoring, email hosting, content updates, or support. If you're comfortable managing all of that yourself, they're a great option. If you'd rather have someone handle it for you, that's what our plans are for. If you're comparing us to services like WP Engine or Kinsta (£25–£50/mo), they keep the technical side running but don't update your content or give you direct access to the person who built your site. Our plans include both, starting from £20/mo.

No — small content updates and business email are included on every tier from £20/month, including Online Shop. Updates cover text tweaks, photo swaps, the odd blog post, and on shops: product photo swaps, price/stock changes, and the occasional new product (see "What counts as a content update on a shop?" above). Some providers charge a mandatory base care plan that covers only technical maintenance, then charge an additional £35–£65/month for content updates and £5–£8/month for email. With us, it's all included — one monthly fee, no add-ons. New pages, custom product page templates, seasonal redesigns, or bulk catalogue uploads are either covered by Business Growth's higher allowance or quoted separately.

Yes — monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days notice. We will provide a full export of your website files and database so you can migrate to another provider.
