£50 a month for the build and the hosting — no deposit, no setup fee. Make all 24 payments and the website is yours, and £20/month care after that is optional.

Quick answer. Rutherglen web design for local small businesses — custom-built from scratch, not a template. £50 a month, no deposit, and the site is yours once all 24 payments are made. Recent local example: KAP Joinery in Glasgow southside.

A Glasgow web designer who covers Rutherglen and the south

Rutherglen is the oldest royal burgh in Scotland, and the businesses here are some of the most word-of-mouth-driven in the country. A proper website doesn't replace your word-of-mouth — it extends it. People who'd never have heard of you find you on Google when they search for what you do.

Local without the agency markup

I work mostly remotely (email, phone) which keeps prices down. £50 a month with no deposit sits well below most full-service Glasgow agency quotes — and I'm a short trip away if in-person time matters.

Custom-built for you

Designed around your brand from a blank page — not a paid theme with your logo dropped in.

You own everything

The website is yours once all 24 payments are made. Until then the plan runs for a minimum of 24 payments: end it early and hosting stops, the site comes down and the remaining payments stay due.

"GrantOps Consulting delivered Cyberlandia an exceptional experience from start to finish. They transformed our AWS public cloud environment into a highly redundant, resilient solution that gives us real confidence in our infrastructure. What really set them apart was their willingness to go above and beyond—diving deep into troubleshooting our custom applications and developing sophisticated, high-end workarounds tailored to our unique deployment. Their technical expertise, creativity, and commitment to getting things right were evident at every step. If you're looking for someone that not only understands cloud architecture but truly partners with you to solve complex challenges, I highly recommend GrantOps Consulting. We continue to use them."

Client admin panel available

Change your photos yourself — or just email us

Small changes, about 30 minutes of work a month, are included. Email a change over and it's done within 48 hours — usually within a few hours. And when you'd rather do it yourself: on suitable builds GrantOps can include a private password-protected panel for your business, kept apart from the website, for the sections we agree up front — photo and project galleries, and products and prices on shop builds. Other sections can be quoted.

You edit the approved content; the layout, branding and mobile design stay as we built them. Nothing changes on your website until you press publish, and you can undo an update. Photo and project gallery editing is already delivered and in use for KAP Joinery.

Available on suitable builds. We agree exactly what you can edit before development, so the panel stays simple and only shows what you can change.

What happens after the £50 monthly payments?

A monthly website can spread the cost of owning a professional site, or keep you renting indefinitely. The important question is what you own when the initial term ends.

That £50 a month pays for designing and building your site, hosting it, and small changes when you need them. There's no separate build bill. And it's 24 payments, not forever — the plan runs for a minimum of 24, and once they're made the £50 stops and you either keep us on at £20 a month or take your site wherever you like. It's yours. Seen another £50-a-month offer? Ask if it includes building the site — many at that price cover hosting and support only.

A website-rental model

Ongoing monthly rental
  • You may be paying for access to the website rather than buying it
  • The monthly payment can continue for as long as the site is live
  • Payments never end — stop paying and the site is gone
  • Website files may not be available to move elsewhere
  • Updates, email and support may be separate add-ons
After 24 months Still renting
If you leave Site may go

GrantOps monthly plan

£50 /month for 24 months
  • No deposit and no setup fee — start with the first £50 payment
  • A custom-coded website designed for your business
  • Hosting, small content updates and an info@ email address included
  • 60 days of change history, the HTTPS padlock and direct developer support included
  • Complete all 24 payments and the website is yours — take it anywhere
24-month total £1,200
After 24 payments Yours

The plan runs for a minimum of 24 payments — that's what pays for the build instead of an upfront fee. End it early and hosting ends and the site comes down. Complete all 24 and the £50 payments stop for good: keep us on at £20/month or take the files and host the site anywhere. With a rental, the payments never stop — and neither does the risk.

Your booking system. Your customers. Your account.

Every build includes hooking your site up to the tools you already use — online booking, newsletter, reviews, WhatsApp. You keep the accounts, in your name. That's the whole difference.

Let people book you online

Already using Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy or Treatwell? I'll wire it straight into your site, so customers book a slot instead of ringing you while you're on a job.

The account stays yours

The booking system is in your name, on your card. Your calendar, your customer list, your data. None of it routes through me, and I don't sit in the middle of it.

Walk away, keep everything

Resellers hand you their booking platform as part of the monthly fee. Stop paying and your calendar goes with them. Here the tools were always yours — so there's nothing to lose.

Included in every website build, whichever way you pay — it's your account, I just wire it in. Bespoke work like member areas, custom calculators or a direct API integration is a separate quote.

A Glasgow southside joiner

Most recent project: Paul at KAP Joinery — Glasgow southside, just up the road from Rutherglen. Custom site built around a printed flyer Paul brought to our first chat, hosted on AWS, with a quote form on every page. Same build process I'd use for a Rutherglen business.

Rutherglen web design — common questions

Do you build websites for businesses in Rutherglen?

Yes — Rutherglen is in my regular service area. I'm a Glasgow-based web designer working with small businesses across south Glasgow and South Lanarkshire, including Rutherglen Main Street, Stonelaw, Burnside, Cambuslang Road, and the wider Royal Burgh. Trades, dentists, solicitors, clinics, salons, cafés and shops — anywhere the website has to bring in real enquiries. Most recent live build is for a Glasgow southside joiner — case study at /case-studies/kap-joinery/.

How much does a small business website cost in Rutherglen?

£50 a month for the build and the hosting, with care included — no deposit and no setup fee. The plan runs for 24 payments; make all 24 and the website is yours, after which £20/month care is optional. The wider Glasgow market for simple brochure sites typically runs £500–£1,500, and a £299 'fixed price' usually ends up costing more than £1,100 in Year 1 once mandatory fees stack up.

Are you based in Rutherglen?

I'm based in Glasgow — a short hop from Rutherglen. Most of my work is done remotely (email, phone, WhatsApp), which is what keeps the price down. Rutherglen-based clients are well within my regular service area, and if a project ever needs a face-to-face conversation, I'm in the same city and happy to meet. GrantOps Consulting Ltd is a registered Scottish company (SC834128).

What kinds of Rutherglen businesses do you work with?

Any local business where the website needs to actually do work — bring in new customers via Google search, show pricing, take enquiries and bookings, build trust before someone calls. Trades (joinery, plumbing, electrical, roofing), dental and health clinics, solicitors and accountants, salons and barbers, cafés and takeaways, gyms, and independent shops. If your business depends on people in Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Glasgow southside, or the wider South Lanarkshire area finding you online, the plan is built for you.

Can you connect my booking or newsletter tools?

Yes, and the account stays in your name. Every build includes wiring up the booking, newsletter and review tools you already own — Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Fresha, Booksy, Treatwell. Resellers hand you THEIR booking platform as lock-in: stop paying and your calendar walks out the door with them. Here the tools were always yours. Bespoke work (member areas, calculators, direct API integrations) is quoted separately.

How quickly can you start a Rutherglen build?

Most sites are live in about a week once I have your content. Bigger builds — an online shop, a booking system, a members area — are quoted with their own timeline. Most projects start within a week of you saying yes, because I keep a small client roster deliberately rather than being booked out months ahead. Get in touch and I reply within 4 working hours, Mon–Fri.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. Small changes, about 30 minutes of work a month, are included. Email them across and I'll make them within 48 hours, usually within a few hours. On suitable builds I can also set up a private password-protected panel for your business. It's kept apart from the website and covers the sections we agree up front: photo and project galleries, and products and prices on shop builds. Other sections can be quoted. The panel works on your phone. In the photo panel you add a finished job, describe the photos and put them in the order you want people to see them. Nothing changes on your website until you press publish, and you can undo an update. Photo galleries are already live for KAP Joinery. It isn't a drag-and-drop page builder, so you edit the approved content while the layout, branding and mobile design stay as I built them.
